Below is a submission to the Hero Song Project, a campaign where musical artists who will pick from writings submitted by alienated parents and children to compose the music and perform the songs to bring public awareness of parental alienation.
There is a war going on
No one sees but us
We are the targeted ones
Losing our children one by one
Looking to others to help
Attorneys, judges, therapists
Often doing more harm than good
We lose them in pieces and then for good
Hoping and waiting for them to return
Sometimes feeling as crazy as the alienators say we are
Still we keep fighting for the children we love
