Below is a submission to the Hero Song Project, a campaign where musical artists who will pick from writings submitted by alienated parents and children to compose the music and perform the songs to bring public awareness of parental alienation.
As I sit in my room my mind drifts to you, the best memories of my life are with you my child, my life is without you in it and it’s so painful, my heart breaks every day.
Yet, I still have purpose, I still live on, somehow I’m getting through it.
I know you love me, but your so confused, scared and pondering in your thoughts about me in your life.
I am not the monster they depicted, they lied to you for their own selfish cause. Someday the truth will reveal itself to you and everyone.
As you get older you’ll understand the hard choices.I had to make to survive mentally and my love for you is actually keeping me alive, even when I don’t have you by my side.
I will Never give-up on us, I will Never back down and although I stand alone.
I stand stronger than you’ll ever know. My beautiful child you are my life, my heart and we will get through this difficult time.
My love is unconditional, my love is pure, my love for you will always endure.
“I love You to the Moon and Back”
