Below is a submission to the Hero Song Project, a campaign where musical artists who will pick from writings submitted by alienated parents and children to compose the music and perform the songs to bring public awareness of parental alienation.
Without you, I’m not me
Without you, I can’t see
Without you, I’m going down a hill
Without you, my life is still
Without you, the sun never shines
Without you, your always on my mind
Without you, I walk around in a daze
Without you, I’m lost in a maze
Without you, my heart doesn’t beat
Without you, I’m incomplete
Without you, my tears fall like rain
Without you, I’m in so much pain
Without you, I never wanted to be
Without you, I’m falling into defeat
Without you, nothing seems right
I am without you, so I pray to never give up the fight
